Sorry but no.
Monsters still go back and forth from AOE's like headless chickens, it does need some tweaking. (and they still get confused sometimes and stand inside the AOE not attacking, mainly when solo though)
And orion and cynn do need to be tweaked, its all well and good saying use snares, but we dont all have them.
And im sure 1 shot AOE's should not cause them to run.
(And really orion should have had firestorm taken from him ages ago, casting it on dead enemies, wow.)
I dont PVP but these changes make sense, i am dissapointed though by there unwilliness to fix the above.

one shot AoEs do NOT cause monsters to run. the AI has been fixed since the 11-10 update. nuking is still a viable option, it only takes brains to do it well now.
and anyway - this thread is about the 11-17 update. if you want to talk about the 11-10 update - see that thread.

Vin Diesel owns. I mean, the guy can bench my car and plays Dungeons & Dragons.
However, no Tormentor's 15k. T_T

I third this. I've been playing for 6 months now, 5 of those month I have spent waiting for tormentors 15K. Although I respect the fact that others changes must be made, it seems ridiculous to me that you can buy 2 amours in the game, both of which have identical stats and appearance. I mean why even bother selling it at the 15K vendor? Seriosuly 15K Tormentors, I expect you in the next update!!!
As for all the PvP stuff, well due to the fact my guild isnt all together organised I've not got further than the third round in Tombs. So these updates make little difference to me, however I'm sure they will please the multitude of hardcore PvP player out there.

Looks like another step in the right direction. Solid update, seems ok.
As for 15k tormentors, I agree that you guys have to wait a long time for it. Can't help but wondering: after the 15k tormentors, the allready implemented capetoggle, what will be the next thing that will be a recurring topic?
Time will tell.

WTF? What's this? Get with the programme: every change is a nerf, and every change is bad! Like this:

Anyways the ingame music remains broken, how much longer is A.net expecting us to hear the same 4 tracks all over the place? Over and over again...

o.0
I never would have dreamed people still have music turned on. I turned it off after one week of playing... I usually have my radio turned on for music.
Maybe that is also an idea for you, or do you really prefer in-game music?
:shrugs:

I payed for the extra soundtracks. Problem is it's cost me £35 instead of £6. Paypal took the money from the wrong source and my bank charged me for going over my limit as that account couldn't handle the charge x.x P{aypal are refusing to take responsibility.
So while they are nice, I'm finding hard to apreciate.
But yes, towns need fixing.

For those wanting the Tormentor 15k Armour, and being disappointed it wasnt included in this update, its out very soon according to Gaile Gray
http://forums.gwonline.net/showthrea...&page=20&pp=10
"A certain verbose amphibian announced just a few days ago that Tormentors Armor is coming very soon. And he meant very soon. Neither he nor I could make you promises, but as I joked in another thread, I bet it won't take all your fingers and toes to count these days. "
...so in other words around 20 days tops!

WinAmp FTW. Me, I suggest Dargaards "Eternity Rites". Perfect for GW. Although I suppose anything by Arcana will work too.
BTW, anyone else feel the movie-score-type music you could download for GW was dull? I'm glad I only got the free ones, and didn't plunk out the cash to get the full GW music set.
